Get Under the Nile organic baby cloths for boys

I tried Mommy’s Touch one size, Happy Heiny’s one size and BumGenius 2.0 one size. Out of the three, this one comes in last. It’s a lot more leak-prone than the other two and I’m not quite sure how they’re calling it a one size…? We didn’t have any problem with that because my boys are age 1 and 2, but it doesn’t have the snaps to make the front smaller like the BumGenius and Happy Heiny’s do, so it would probably be too large for a newborn. Not to mention, this one is a few bucks more expensive than the BumGenius and the Happy Heiny’s. Save your money and get the BumGenius (my favorite of the 3 I tried)!

These are my favorite diapers out of the Mommy’s Touch diapers. I like the pocket diapers better than the all-in-one because you can just lay an insert in them and change the insert if it gets a little wet or dirty without changing the outer part. The diaper comes with one insert, but I bought extra green acre microterry inserts to go with them. It makes these diapers go farther. I also think I prefer the velcro over the snaps because it is a lot simpler to use. The fleece wicks away the moisture and keeps the surface dry similarly to how a disposable does. I got them when my son was one month old and weighed 12 lbs. He’s big so I dont know how they would fit a really small baby. They fit my son fine, but they are pretty bulky just like all one-size diapers are.

This is my new favorite diaper. My 20-month-old son has always been very difficult to fit. His Fuzzi Bunz were great at first, but they wore out quickly and no size would fit him as he grew taller and skinnier. I switched to Happy Heinys and Mommy’s Touch. While the HH’s grew scratchy as they pilled, the Mommy’s Touch stayed much softer- especially the diapers with the printed patterns. These diapers actually fit, and leaking is no longer a constant problem. While I can’t say these diapers are perfect, they are by far the best diapers I’ve encountered. My son is a super-super-soaker, so I don’t think there is a diaper or diaper insert on the planet that can completely contain him (even overnight disposables can’t). But at least I’m not constantly changing his pants when he wears the Mommy’s Touch. And I have yet to have to deal with a poopy blowout with these diapers (something I could never say about Fuzzi Bunz). I highly recommend these, particularly the printed diapers (just because the fleece seems to stay softer,) to anyone.

I had high hopes for this product, and even bought two. But I was disappointed. For an all in one, it has sure has a lot of different and removable parts. Also, I know it says “one size” but it is still HUGE on my 2 1/2 month old. The only thing that I really like about it is the strength of the velcro. It feels like it’s some kind of industrial grade, and would probably be harder for older kids to take off themselves.
I’ve had much better luck with the Bum Genius 3.0 even though they are pocket diapers. Bum Genius also makes a great all in one (that doesn’t have so many extra parts!)

I’ve been using Mommy’s Touch AIO’s for two weeks. My son was born at almost 11 pounds so he fit into them right away.

    The Good
Don’t leak. Very easy to clean. Newborn poop hasn’t stained or stuck to them in any way. They are so so easy to use. I love the touchtape. They are so soft and comfortable for my baby.

    Things to note.
I have 10 of them and use all 10 every day. I wish I had more.
They are bulky - but most cloth diapers are bulkier than disposable.

I decided when my son turned 2 that I would switch to cloth (”better than never”). I tried three: Bumgenius 3.0, Mommy’s Touch AIO touchtape, and Mommy’s Touch Pocket touchtape diapers. After using them everyday for 3 months, I really like the Bumgenius better, then the Mommy’s Touch Pocket, then the Mommy’s Touch AIO.

    THE FIT:
My son is superskinny at 24 lbs and 35 inches. All these people who are lamenting that their 5 month old is “outgrowing” these cloth diapers apparently don’t realize that most kids start growing height and may actually lose those chubby thighs and belly as they get bigger and start walking. Look, these diapers are usable on my 37 lb 4.5 year old (he’s skinny too but definatly bigger around than any 1 year old I know). I find the Mommy’s touch AIO are a little gappy around my son’s legs even with cinching the waist down. The elastic on the waist is too tight and I think and could be more giving, this is my main problem with the diaper. Also, the width of the diaper in the crotch area is fairly wide. I use the Kushies diaper liners and since the diaper is wider than the liner, poo tends to get on the diaper more often.

    LEAKS:
The Mommy’s touch AIO is the last one I normally reach for. The overlap design of the pads makes them prone to leaks than the other two. I prefer the Mommy’s touch pocket diaper to this one. It’s not a big deal to stuff the pocket one.

    HOW MANY TO BUY:
Now, I’ve not used cloth on a newborn, they tend to go through lots of diapers. But I’ve heard people say to buy 24 or 30. That seems extreme to me. I bought 9 total and use maybe 2 or 3 a day (with a disposable at night). I do a diaper load every 3 days or so, with a couple towels, in my front load washer. My kids have never had diaper rashes so I only change them when the diaper’s full.

    MY VERDICT:
These diapers are fine, but I would not buy them again. I would buy the Bungenius 3.0 because they are trimmer under clothing, have NEVER had leaks for me, are trimmer in the crotch and are not so snug in the waist.

We love Mommy’s Touch one-size Touchtape All in One Cloth Diapers and also Mommy’s Touch one-size snap Cloth Diapers. Both my husband and I are equally thrilled to finally find cloth diapers we like. Yes there are bulkier than disposable diapers, but for our 14 month old it is a nice landing pad for her frequent falls. Washing and drying them doesn’t bother us, with 2 young children in the house, we are constantly doing laundry anyway. We are delighted to have a cloth diaper we can call our own and I am trying to get everyone I know who uses disposables to switch! Thank you so much.

We love these diapers. We’ve have several brands of diapers. This is the only One-Size true AIO I have been able to find. My husband is dumbfounded that I even bothered with buying pocket diapers or those with snaps. These are always the first diapers we reach for - they require no pre-folding or stuffing. Now, that might not sound like such a big deal but when you work full-time and are taking care of a baby, the last thing you need to worry about is stuffing and putting away diapers every other day. After these are washed and dried, we put them in a laundry bag and keep the bag by her changing table- you can just grab them as you need them. Plus, pulling soiled liners out of a pocket diaper is gross and why do it if it’s not necessary? These fit her great after she was about 11 lbs (we used disposables for the first few months), they never leak and she seems comfortable. Yes - they are bulkly but all cloth diapers are - you just have to buy bigger clothes. Give these a try - I think you’ll like them!
